Hi, I'm Shelley Wood, a master teacher with extensive experience in Graphic Arts, Photography, and Technology, from Olds, Alberta, Canada.
Welcome to Shell Creatives, where I provide top-quality creation of training materials and graphic design services on a casual basis. With a passion for teaching and a keen eye for design, I am committed to delivering solutions tailored to your specific requirements.
Not everyone has the time or resources for a full-time graphic design team, which is why I offer flexible services that fit your schedule and specific needs. Whether you are an individual who needs a party invitation or technical help figuring out how that .pdf form works, or a business that needs a visually stunning brochure or engaging training materials, I am here to help. If you wish to improve your skills in a particular software program, I also offer one-on-one or group training to help you achieve your goals.
For the Communications and Design teacher, I also have a selection of pre-made resources available. You can currently find those at my TPT store, Shell Creatives
Throughout my 30+ year high school teaching career I've taught a plethora of subjects and software use in the realms of graphic design, photography, technology, marketing, information processing, and accounting. Having made the decision to now work part-time in the classroom, this allows me the time to work on a freelance or contract basis to continue to help others and share my expertise.
My students ranged from beginners to advanced, and my experience includes skills in:
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, One-note)
Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, Forms, etc.)
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver)
3D Animation (3D Max, Maya, Blender)
Photography (including studio lighting)
General Technology
Keyboarding, Accounting, Marketing, Digital Citizenship
